Indoor Season Finally In Full Swing

I'm going to miss the Penn State Open for the first time in quite a while.  I hope everyone has a good time and fills me in on what's happening.

Greg Fredericks has pointed out that those wishing to visit Coach Groves will need to see him at a different place.
For alums coming back that may wish to visit Coach he is now in a different building.  He had some medical issues the beginning of the month and was in the hospital for a while.  He is currently in Juniper Village skilled nursing care.

He is located at 1950 Cliffside Dr room 213.  This building is off Branch road behind Hills Plaza and is the last of the 3 Juniper Village building on the road.

That Makes Five

Although Brannon Kidder didn't garner too many votes in last year's Performance of the Year poll, he did have a really good year. He represented America at the World Championships and set a PR at the 1500M.

And now he opened up this year with another Sub-4 Mile, his 5th overall. I am pretty sure that's the most of any PSU Alumni (Golfer)! He ran another 3:58 at the opening meet of the season at his home track on the Left Coast. A good way to start the Olympic year.

Trapped Like A Rat

Maybe this is like the twentieth repeat of my annual trip to Disney World. I love to hate all things Disney and I hate to love all things Disney.

But it did allow me to continue my recent Lego obsession. (There are no politics in Lego of which I am aware.)

And I made up a rendition of the Alumni Singlet. And it still fits after all these years!

What a great way to usher in the Indoor Season.

Save The Date! The Nineteenth Reunion Is This Year

Clark Haley's vision for a robust Track/XC Reunion at Penn State hits the 20-year 19th-year mark* this year.  We all need to make it the finest one yet.

So, Save The Date!

This year's Alumni Reunion and Coach Harry Groves Golf Tournament will be on May 15th and 16th.  More details to come...

*Only an idiot would mess that up!  And I'm just the idiot to get it done.  The sharper Officers in the group picked it up and corrected me.  (Or did I just do that on purpose to see if anyone was paying attention???)
