When Men Were Men and Beaver was a Field

Some digital goodness from William Gellman, a past roommate of Todd Leggett.  These are from photos of his grandfather Lamartine Hood, a PSU Trackster from 1923-1924.  I believe these show the track at Beaver Field which used to be roughly where the Nittany Lion Inn is now.

    I'm hoping Todd can send us some more. I once had a 1918-1919 PSU Boxer as a patient, who had good stories to tell, and a nose that proved he boxed somewhat poorly!
