Top Ten Finish For Penn State Men: Six More First Team All-Americans

Congrats to the Mens Team on a very successful season.  It certainly was exciting from start to finish.  The NCAA Indoor Championships ended yesterday with PSU in a three-way tie for Ninth Place with 19 Points.
What happened to the beard?

PSU is 800 U

All-Americans:
  1. Brannon Kidder FR  Distance Medley 1200 M  Second Place (2:55.17)
  2. Brandon Bennett-Green JR Distance Medley 400 M Second Place (46.55)
  3. Za'Von Watkins FR  Distance Medley  800 M Second Place (1:49.54)
  4. Robbie Creese SO  Distance Medley  1600 M Second Place (4:02.75)
  5. Will Barr JR Weight Throw  Sixth Place (69' 11.75") School Record
  6. Casimir Loxsom SR 800 M Second Place (1:47.23)

    I watched most of the meet and all the PSU races live on ESPN.com feed. I felt bad for Robbie in the mile final and also Cas take the race burden and just missing catching up. Imagine our team finish if we had a completely healthy and fresh team, not to mention the missing premier 400m guy, giving at least their near-best performances. Wow!

  2. Robbie has no fear. Kudos. Cas is developing a finish that will put him over the top. Huzzah. And Coach Gondak looks like his golf game is keen for a second appearance on the Coach Harry Groves Memorial Cup!

  3. Having done a few triples (even quadruples) in my time, I can imagine what Creese felt like toeing the line. Despite that, he went after it and tried to haul in the leader. Nothing to be ashamed of in that effort. Great running (and throwing) by the PSU men this weekend, congratulations to the All America performers. WE ARE....
