Maybe someday Penn State Cross Country will travel to the "Emerald Isle" to traverse the green hills of the Irish countryside. I may make that trip if it ever happens, but in the meantime I'll just to listen to Flogging Molly and drink a O'Hara's Stout to get my fix.
THE GOLF IS OPTIONAL, THE MIRTH IS REQUIRED! The only blog detailing PSU Track and Field, (not always great!) Golf, Physics topics and great videos at the same time! An eclectic mish-mash (mess) of just about everything imaginable. Penn State Track and Field Alumni Golfers have honored PSU Track/XC, Coach Harry Groves and abused golf courses throughout Happy Valley since 2002. Help spread the word!

It's American Football Me Lass
A typical early morning Saturday during football season is reserved for cross country meets while the pigskin is tossed around afterwards. That will all change tomorrow as Penn State Football begins the season in Dublin. Kickoff is set for 8:30 am sharp, due to the time difference between Ireland and the East Coast, for Father Franklin's first game paroling the sidelines.

We have an inside presence in Ireland. My father and brother are there and I hope to bring pics and videos for all. They arrived this AM and immediately went to the Guinness factory. Not bad for a pair of teetotalers.
ReplyDeleteGood for them. The Gravity Bar at the top of Guinness museum is a must-see. It's the only place my wife was able to finish a pint.
