Sooooooo Close!

800U and Shot Put U were well represented at the USATF Indoor Championships in New Mexico over the weekend.

Rachel Fatherly placed 11th in the Shot Put, and Olympian Darrell Hill placed 4th in the Mens version of the event.

On the track, World Record Holder Casimir Loxsom was the favorite in the 600M, but couldn't quite catch his frequent competitor Erik Sowinski. It is a good sign that Cas had a better last 200M time than Erik. His strength training is starting to show results!  It is notable that Shaquille Walker and Donavan Brazier placed 3rd and 6th behind him.

A little disappointed.

In the 1000M, Brannon Kidder ran a very strong second place but couldn't close on the winner, Clayton Murphy.  Again, it is notable that Olympian Robby Andrews was well back in the field
