The Cross Country season ended early on Saturday, as the weather forced the NCAA Championships to be moved up several hours to avoid impending horrible conditions.
The Penn State Women finished one spot ahead of last year's 19th place. We must remember that last year, a top runner didn't finish and this year 2 of them were out due to injury. So the improvement is probably more than first glances would indicate.
And that means Coach John Gondak has received his 3rd straight Coach of the Year of the Mid-Atlantic Region!
