Fellow Holmes Hall 2nd floor resident in 1978-1979, Mark Heckel was recently awarded for his service as one of America's finest Track and Field Officials by USATF. I cannot think of a more wonderful man to receive recognition of this sort. Intelligent, friendly, accomplished and always smiling is how I remember him. His Official duties have kept him away from many of our Reunions, but he is never far away from our thoughts. Well done, Mark!
