Paul Souza has ended his 17-year career as Coach at Wheaton College to devote more time to Rock and Roll, (Well, singing anyway!) Paul led the Thunder from a club team to a perennial power in Division III Track and Field. The Velveteen Playboys are the big winners in this.
Bridget Franek started her professional season in style in the Rome Diamond League Meet 3000 M Steeplechase. (thanks to Larry Mangan for that piece of news.)
