My 4th place in the largest ever PSU Track Alumni NCAA Pool run by Ken Cooper, and my 15th place in the much larger Ace-of-Spades Pool prove that the dispassionate use of statistics and computer analysis is a viable choice in prognostication.* But still, several ahead of me went with uniform colors and the like to make their choices.
*No money was involved in any of my pools, which I regret.
