PSU is 800 U: USATF Edition

Both PSU runners made it to the finals of the USATF National Championships tonite in Eugene.  Casimir Loxsom and Sam Borchers will be representing PSU in the finals on Sunday.  Make sure to order your limited edition "PSU is 800 U" t-shirt before they are sold out!  Congrats to both Cas and Sam, and also to Coaches Beth Alford-Sullivan and  John Gondak.

Addendum:  Blog favorite Bridget Franek also qualified for the finals in the 3000M SC.

    In my experience, the entire coaching staff is of the highest caliber. Their attention to detail and love of the rich tradition of PSU Track and Field is one reason I write the blog. It's all an effort to unite the past and present, and enhance the future of the program. Seeing Coach Groves, Coach Lucas and the current staff at our reunion in May warmed my heart and spurred the entire idiot officer corps of our group to even higher aspirations. Even better things are coming! Thanks for checking in.

    Could not agree more. My experience as an athlete was one that I cannot put into words how positive it was. Sullivan and Gondak are phenomenal coaches and mentors. All of the alumni appreciate you writing the blog!
