Indoor Season Begins!
I'll be in Florida for this one, but my minions will be there. I'm betting there will some surprise great performances again, just like each of the last few years. Indoor track was always enjoyable, and would have been even better with facilities like Penn State currently has.

You mean that running on the flat track in the converted ice rink wasn't enjoyable? That freezing that first year when we had to use the "warming room" to keep from getting frostbite in the unheated "indoor football facility"? What kind of man are you! Suck it up, cupcake!
ReplyDeleteYou have me pegged! I just adjusted the temperature in my treadmill room so as not to be too warm for my daily 3.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember any room being warm enough to be called a warming room.
I do remember my roommate Alan Scharsu running a 4:09 mile in 9 degree indoor weather. It was like watching my dogs race around the kitchen table after one of the cats. Except there are no tennis balls!
I wish there was a way to measure which facility caused the more pronounced "post-workout headache" - Rec Hall or the Ice Palace? LTM
