A Random Walk In Happy Valley

One of the classic Investment books of all time was titled, A Random Walk Down Wall Street.  In the book, it was proven that a chimpanzee throwing darts at a list of stocks outperforms all the experts.

Well, we can't afford to rent a chimpanzee for the selection of the foursomes for the Coach Harry Groves Golf Tournament, so we'll just have to use adult beverages at the Friday Night Reception to render ourselves a chimpanzee-like IQ before making the selections.

I am led to believe that foursomes this year will be totally random, like in the early days of our tournament.  This gives even the worst golfers among us (hands go up all around the room!) a fair shot at making it onto the Coach Groves Memorial Cup.*

*It's not really a Cup and Coach Groves is still very much alive and still able to kick your butt.
