B1G XC Championships

The Women finished 4th as a team.  The Mens team finished 9th, but Matt Fischer thrilled all Lions everywhere when he led the race through 7K and finished 3rd overall.  Congrats to Matt and "the girls".

    Impressive run by Fischer. A bit of Unionville/Penn State trivia -

    Name the distaff PIAA XC winner from District 1 Unionville whose mother (a one-time, but not 4 year Nittany Lion) accomplished the same feat from a District 7 (WPIAL) school in the late 70s.
