Bruce Dern 880Y Runner

Our new Vintage Track friends at Once Upon a Time in the Vest have a new post up about Bruce Dern and some others in the track and field/Acting world. My father-in-law Leonard Black and father of PSU Track Alumni Golfers Gary Black, Steve Black and Barb Black, ran the 880Y and mile at Penn just prior to Bruce's foray in 1954 to 1957.  Yeah, Bruce quit the team because of his long hair, while my father-in-law left to join the Navy!

As most of you know, we've had some stuff on that posted in the past also, but the post is extensive and I learned a few things.  The most surprising of which was Woody Allen's 2:06 HS 880Y! (Not belittling Robin William's 1:57 880Y either.)
